Testbericht chemische Beständigkeit

In extensive tests and examination procedures, we had the chemical resistance of our hybrid glass material tested. In addition to various alcohols and solvents, the resistance to acids, alkalis, fats, oils, and even disinfectants was tested. In total, we had 29 test substances examined. The OnScreen® Hybrid Glass is resistant to all tested substances and chemicals. Thus, our hybrid glass material is excellently suited as an extremely durable display protector as well as surface protection. Specifically, the flexible yet glass-hard material is resistant to highly active disinfectants. Therefore, the crystal-clear transparent display protection is particularly suitable for use in the medical field, in hospitals, nursing homes, and generally everywhere displays need to be kept continuously germ-free.

Test Report on Temperature Resistance

In addition to chemical resistance, the resistance to low and high temperatures was also examined. In summary, we can confidently state that our hybrid glass is resistant from -40 °C to +140 °C at relative humidity levels from 5 to 100%, without any change in properties such as high transparency, high surface hardness and scratch resistance, and high flexibility (bendable!). In our opinion, OnScreen® hybrid glass is better than bulletproof glass.
